Cinnamon Sweet Potato Bites

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Bites


  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Scrub the sweet potatoes, leave unpeeled, and cut into 1 cm thick rounds

  2. Combine olive oil, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.

  3. Arrange the potato slices on a tray lined with baking paper, and spread apart so they are not touching

  4. Lightly brush the potatoes with the cinnamon, sugar, salt and oil mixture; only use enough to lightly coat.

  5. Roast at 230 degrees celcius turning them halfway, cooking for 15 to 20 minutes total, or until they are golden and crisp,

  6. Transfer the potatoes to paper towels to drain, sprinkle them with more cinnamon, sugar or salt to taste, and serve warm.
